Thanks for checking in. I have a few intentions by opening up this web site. It came to mind that anyone interested in my humor, might be intrigued with other aspects of my life.

After a bi-pass surgery in 2001, I found myself drowning in “spare time,” something unfamiliar to me. Confined to my home, recuperating from the operation, I accomplished a dream I’ve carried around in my head for years. As a gift for my children, I wrote a small book called, “Stony Island” that explores my life as a boy and a young man. Although I did print a few copies for my family and friends, I do have signed manuscripts available for anyone interested.

During the sixties I was fascinated with Greek Mythology and black ink. Losing hours of sleep, I found myself, pen in hand, knocking out “ink drawings" in the quiet hours before dawn. Somehow, I managed to save seven during the last forty-five years and will share them also.

My fondness for food also impels me to give up some of my favorite family recipes written “tongue in cheek” because that’s all I know. I will also welcome family recipes from my readers to share. These will change periodically.

Somehow, I also found time a few years ago to finish a children’s book called, “ The Adventures of Ruford Foxtail.” This is available for sale and includes ten full pages to color and a small box of crayons.

Thanks again for browsing my way — check in with me often and I will, in turn, try to put a smile on your face.

Thanks Dutch
